Statistical Sciences celebrates faculty,student national award winners

Three faculty members and one graduate student from the Department of Statistical Sciences have won several highly competitive awards at the American Statistical Association’s Annual Meeting in August.

Dr. Lucy D’Agostino McGowan, Assistant Professor of Statistical Sciences, has been awarded the 2023 Teaching Statistics in the Health Sciences Young Investigator Award.

Dr. Staci Hepler, Associate Professor of Statistical Sciences, has been awarded the 2023 Section on Statistics and the Environment’s Early Investigator Award.

Dr. Sarah Lotspeich, Assistant Professor of Statistical Sciences, has been awarded the 2023 Biometrics Section Early Career Award. Graduate Student Ashley Mullan has been awarded the 2023 Gertrude M. Cox Award.
